Location: La Torre, Alba (Cuneo) Location: Altitude 320 m. a.s.l., west exposure. Soil: calcareous and sandy marl.
Vine: Barbera, vines about 10 years old. Manual harvesting with selection of the bunches. Pruning: Guyot. Density: 4,400 vines per hectare.
Vinification: soft pressing with destemming; fermentation at controlled temperature with 7/10 days maceration on the skins. After an adequate period of maturation, a brief refinement in the bottle precedes release on the market. Colour: purple ruby red Bouquet: intense and spicy bouquet; hints of ripe cherries, flowers and red fruits. Taste: full, warm and elegant.
Serve at a temperature of 18°C in a tulip-shaped glass.
